About the eventThe Official Mykonos Opening and Closing parties signify the seasonal beginning and end to one of Europe’s most notorious party islands, Mykonos. First conceptualized by Greg Tsouloufris in 2007, and produced biannually by ilove entertainment, these events have become an annual "must-attend" by thousands of Mykonos enthusiasts from around the globe. Strategically hosted in exclusive London (UK) venues, the Opening and Closing parties are renowned for their extreme audio-visual production and technological standard, a key ingredient and trademark of ilove entertainment's event production service. Taking place in May for the Opening and September for the Closing, the events feature iconic Mykonian personalities including the Mayor, legendary Club & Bar Owners, inspiring DJ’s and numerous local and international celebrities all under the same roof! ilove entertainment's vision is to ultimately host the Opening and Closing parties in Mykonos, by featuring a series of events, with international DJ’s and global fanatics, for a week in May and September, to celebrate the commencement and ending of the eminent summer season. |

So, How did it all start?..."I was in Mykonos chillin' by the pool trying to overcome last night's hangover - counting the remaining days before returning to London - when I thought of putting together a "reunion-type"Mykonos event which would gather everyone we partied, flirted or even made love to - while on the island - all under the same roof. Then get absolutely trashed amongst all those familiar Mykonos faces for one last time before next year's Mykonos adventure. Having seen the amount of Mykonos albums uploaded on facebook every year, I decided to set up the Mykonos Experience Gallery, while setting up tons of screens and video walls around the event area for us to share the craziest and most outrageous moments of our very own Mykonos experiences. To slap some summer madness into the equation I thought of dressing everyone up in bikinis and swimsuits just like we'd do to go to Psarou or Paradise beach. Finally to make it all "sound" more familiar I invited some of the islands finest DJs and MCs to set the mood in London, just like they do for you in Mykonos" Your Host, Greg Tsouloufris |
